BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International univeristy football is set to host the Newport News Apprentice School, Saturday, November 7 at 1 p.m. in a late season non-conference match up.

Last Time Out
The Warriors are coming off a tough loss to Sun Conference opponent Southeastern.

The Warriors offense wasted no time getting on the board, scoring first. Brendan Deshields lead the drive, running the ball four times for 40 yards and the touch down. Southeastern pushed back scoring the next four touch downs, to take a 28-7 lead into the third quarter.

Late in the third, Webber International started to turn the tide after Garry Chouloute capped off an eight-play 86-yard drive with a touchdown pass to Tyler Moldin, cutting the Southeastern lead to 28-14. With six minute left in the game, Darius page crossed the goal line for the 13th time this season, but it was not enough as the Warriors eventually fell, 35-21.

The Unstoppable Force
Through eight games, Webber International's rushing offense ranks among the best in the nation.

The Warriors' 2181 yards on the ground this season ranks No. 10 in the NAIA.

Webber International boasts one of the nation's top rushers in Page, who ranks 10th in the NAIA. Page has racked up 960 yards on the ground and crossed the goal line 13 times, while running mate Deshields has rushed for 583 yards off his own.

The Warrior quarterbacks have also been dangerous on the ground. Billy Pavlock has rushed for 290 yards and four touchdowns, while Chouloute has run for 353 yards and six touchdowns.

On the Verge
Senior running back Page has been a corner stone for the Warriors for many years.

In two seasons as a start he has rushed for over 900 yards each year. Last season, Page ran for 950 yards and eight touchdowns in 10 games. This season he has surpassed both those marks in just eight games.

This weekend, Page has a chance to cement his place in Webber International football history by becoming its first 1,000-yard rusher. Page only needs forty yards against the Apprentice School to achieve the feat. He is averaging 120 yards a game this year.

About the Apprentice School
