BABSON PARK, Fla. – The WIU women's tennis team fell to 0-3 on the season with a tough 4-3 loss to Ave Maria on the WIU Campus Courts. The match was only a seven pointer, instead of nine, as both teams only had 5 players available to compete.
 
The match was tied 1-1 after doubles play, and Daniela Caruso and Nathalia Chaddad picked up the point for Webber by winning #1 doubles 8-5. Caruso won her singles match at #1 singles 6-2, 6-1 and Chaddad won at #2 singles.
 
The Lady Warriors are back in action on Sunday, at Star Island Resort, in Kissimmee. They will be playing NCAA-I Mount St. Mary (MD) at 11:00 a.m.
