BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors tennis team opened up their season hosting conference opponent Warner University Lady Royals. The Lady Royals outplayed the Lady Warriors and won the match 7-2.
 
WIU found themselves down 2-1 after doubles play. Then in singles play the Lady Royals won matches #2 through #6 winning the match 7-2.
 
Winning for the Lady Warriors were: Daniela Caruso and Nathalia Chaddad at #1 doubles and Daniela Caruso at #1 singles.
 
The Lady Warriors record falls to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in The Sun Conference. The Lady Royals improved their record to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in The Sun Conference.
 
The Lady Warriors will return to action on Wednesday, February 19^th as they host conference opponent Southeastern University starting at 3:00 p.m.
