BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University women's tennis team downed Southeastern University 8-1 on Thursday in a non-conference match. The Lady Warriors snapped a five match losing streak with the victory. WIU completed their regular season at the friendly confines of the WIU Campus Courts and wrapped up their second consecutive winning season with a 14-9 record. Webber did qualify for The Sun Conference Tournament that will be held in Daytona Beach next week.
 
The Lady Warriors jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead after doubles play. Winning for WIU were: #1 
Laura Nowak and 
Julija Stojkovska, 8-3; #2 
Nathalia Chaddad and 
Leticia Tomb, 8-1; #3 
Jeanette Hicks and 
Holly Parnell, 8-1.
 
Webber took five of the six singles and the winners were: #2 Nowak, 6-1, 6-1; #3 Stojkovska, 6-0, 6-1; #4 Tomb, 6-2, 6-1; #5 Hicks, 6-0, 6-1; #6 Parnell, 3-6, 6-4, 10-4.
 
Senior Day festivities were held and Coach 
Bill Heath honored them prior to the match. The four graduating Seniors are:

Helen Perry, and Katie Monforte.
