LAKELAND, Fla. – The Webber International women's tennis team defeated Southeastern University 8-1 on Wednesday at the Beerman Tennis Complex in Lakeland. Webber's overall record improves to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in The Sun Conference.

Playing the singles first, Webber clinched the match by winning all six of the matches. Winning for Webber was: #1 Laura Nowak, 6-3, 6-2; #2 Nathalia Chaddad, 6-2, 6-4; #3 Julija Stojkovska, 6-2, 6-0; #4 Letecia Tomb, 6-4, 6-1; #5 Jeanette Hicks, 6-0, 6-0; #6 Holly Parnell, 6-2, 6-2.

Winning in doubles for the Lady Warriors was: #1 Nowak and Stojkovska, 8-3 and at #3 Hicks and Katy Monforte, 8-0.
The Lady Warriors play at home this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. WIU will host Northwood University. Admission is free to all Webber home matches.
