Box Score BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors faced off against the Judson University Lady Eagles on December 29
th at 8:00 p.m. The Lady Eagles were the first to put points on the board with a shot from Sharhonda Huff with 19:26 left in the first half. The Lady Warriors would tie the game with 18:31 left in the first half. Both teams would battle back and forth for the rest of the first half. With 17 seconds left in the first half the Lady Warriors
Ciara Cox would hit a three assisted by
Erin Henry giving the Lady Warriors a one point lead. The Lady Eagles responded with a last second shot by Emily Ragsdale giving the Lady Eagles a one point lead going into the half 31-30. The first half had six lead changes and was tied 5 times. The Lady Warriors shot 34.4% field goals, 37.5% from down town, and 50% at the line. The Lady Eagles shot 33.3% field goals, 35.3% from down town, and 10% from the line.
In the second half the Lady Warriors would come out strong and take the lead with 17:45 left to play with a three point shot by
Angelica Pennington, 34-32. The Lady Eagles would tie the game with 6:01 left to play only to watch the Lady Warriors gain a six point lead with 3:20 left in the game. The Lady Eagles would cut the lead to one point when Ricquel Butler hit a three with 2:34 left in the game. Both teams would hold off each other until Hailey Cnota made a jump shot and was fouled giving the Lady Eagles a one point lead with 15 seconds left in the game. Cnota would then make her free throw giving the Lady Eagles a two point lead. The Lady Warriors would move the ball down the court and miss the shot as time expires ending the game with the Lady Eagles on top 62-60.In the game there were 12 lead changes and the score was tied eight times. The Lady Warriors shot 34.5% field goals, 38.9 % from down town, and 50% from the line in the second half. The Lady Eagles shot 41.9% field goals, 10% from down town, and 44.4% from the line in the second half.
