Tallahassee - The Webber International University men bowlers led qualifying at the Seminole Classic, hosted by Florida State University, at Capital Lanes. The Warriors lost to eventual champion UCF 2-1 after defeating the University of Florida 2-1.
The Warriors dominated all-tournament with Jon Trzcinski, Kristis Sergejevas and TJ Baral earning honors.  Varsity Webber International University members included Jon Trzcinski (230 average for 5 games), TJ Baral (216 per game for 6 games), Kristis Sergejevas (211 average for 6  games), Brandon Hott (214.5 average for 4 games) , Javier Diaz (197  average for 4 games), Marcelo Suartz (224.6 average for 3 games) as well  as Miguel Diaz and Larry Brande.

JUNIOR VARSITY COMPETITION

In the Junior Varsity competition, the Webber International University Green team dominated JV competition posting the second highest qualifying score of all teams, varsity or junior varsity, and beating the second place JV team by nearly 600 pins.   The Webber team was led by Cruise Webster (209 average for 6 games) and included Warriors Colin Champion (201 average for 6 games),  Kyle Calcote (195 average for 6 games), Garrett Gauthier (190 average for 6 games) as well as Alex Begnoche, Brian Fowler and Cory Misura.
