BACKGROUND

Coming into WIU, Larry  was one of the top youth players in the United States.  Brande finished 9th in the Junior Gold championships this past summer, an event in which he competed against more than 1000 hopefuls vying for a spot on Junior Team USA.

In the 2007 Lee Evans Tournament of Americas, representing USA, Brande earned 4 medals, including 2 Gold (Team, Team All Events), 1 Silver (Mixed Doubles with WIU Teammate Ashly Galante) and 1 Bronze (Doubles with Florida colleague and Junior Team USA member Andrew Koff). 

He is also a Loschetter Champion (August 2008) as well as a South Florida Masters Bowling Association Champion (August 2008).  Brande was also elected into the Florida Youth Leaders Hall of Fame for Service.
