Babson Park, Fla. - On the Campus Courts at Webber International University, in Babson Park, the WIU Lady Warriors defeated Warner University 9-0.
This was the opening match of the season for Webber and they are 1-0 overall and in The Sun Conference. Warner drops to 0-2.
Singles winners for WIU were: Lauren Brink, Helen Perry, Kammie Bilardello, Jeanette Hicks, Anna Culaba, and Zulema Robles.
Winning doubles teams were: Brink & Perry, Bilardello & Hicks, and Culaba & Robles.
The Webber women's team returns to the courts this Saturday at 10 a.m. when they host nationally ranked Savannah College of Art & Design.
