Babson Park, Fla. -- On Saturday the Webber Lady Warriors tennis team ran into a buzz saw in West Palm Beach, losing to NAIA nationally ranked Northwood University, 8-1.
The only point WIU could muster against the 13th ranked Seahawks, was at #5 singles. Webber's Anna Culaba had an exciting come from behind win, taking the match 0-6, 7-6(2), 12-10.
Webber drops to 1-3 on the season, overall and in The Sun Conference.
“We have already played two of our toughest opponents we will face all year and I'm very excited as our team moves forward and improves weekly as we progress through this season,” stated Coach
