COLLEGE CAREER

BACKGROUND
Thorton continues to progress and impress.  Katie had a tremendous 2009 summer finishing in the Top 20 at Junior Gold and the Top 16 at Teen Masters.  These performances were a year after solid performances at both events.  In 2008, Katie finshed 62nd as Junior Gold as well as 32nd at the Teen Masters.

Thornton is a member of the Kegel Kup Champions Team in 2008 and was the 2007 pepsi state champion
 
Katie is also as Level 1 certified coach
