BACKGROUND
Javier  is a current member of the Puerto Rican National Team, a member for the past 3 years.  In this capacity, he has competed in the American Zone Championships, The Central and Caribbean Championship (CONCECABOL) as well as the Caribbean Championship (COBOISCA). He represented Puerto Rico in the Tournament of the Americas in July 2008.

Diaz has five 300 games and two 800 series including the second highest all-time in Puerto Rico.  His first 300 game was rolled as a fourteen year old, the youngest ever in his country.

Diaz is a honor graduate of the American Military Academy (Guaynabo) and he is a member of the National Honor Society.
