THOMASVILLE, Ga. — The Webber International University men's soccer team fell 6-0 on the road to Thomas University Monday afternoon at the TU Soccer Complex.
The Warriors moved to 2-1 on the season following the loss, while Thomas improved to 3-1 overall.
Thomas struck early, taking a 1-0 lead in the fourth minute before adding another goal in the 36th minute to take a 2-0 advantage into halftime.
The Night Hawks continued their offensive pressure in the second half, scoring four goals to secure the 6-0 victory.
Webber finished the afternoon with five shots, including two shots on goal.
Dylan Salomon led the Warriors offensively with two shots, both of which were on target, while
Rodnny González and
Clint Wyzard each recorded additional attempts.
Thomas held a 16-5 advantage in total shots and an 8-2 edge in shots on goal. The Warriors created opportunities from set pieces, earning eight corner kicks compared to five for the Night Hawks.
Alvaro Becerril Garcia played all 90 minutes in goal for Webber.

The Warriors will return home to Warrior Grass Field on Thursday, Sept. 3, when they host Warner University. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Babson Park, Fla.
