3/4/2026 10:26:00 AM

Toccoa, GA – The 6th ranked Webber International Men's Golf team wrapped up a three-round tournament with steady team scoring across all 54 holes, highlighted by a dominant week from Christopher Richards Jr., who posted three great rounds, including two in the 60s and finished with the low total of the event for the Warriors. Richards is now the third different Warrior to win an individual title for the Warriors this spring.

Round 1

Webber opened with a 296 team round. Richards Jr. set the pace immediately with a 69, while Tristan Greenleaf followed with an even-par 72. Kyle Miller added a 77 and Vedant Sirohi carded a 78 to round out the scoring four. Callum Woolston finished Round 1 with an 81.

Round 2

The Warriors turned in their best team number of the tournament in Round 2, firing a 291. Richards Jr. stayed locked in with a 70, and Sirohi matched him with a strong 70 of his own to give Webber two scores at even par or better on the day. Greenleaf contributed a 74, with Woolston's 77 completing the counting four. Miller posted an 80 in the second round.

Round 3

Webber closed with a 303 in the final round, fueled by the best round of the entire three-day stretch from Richards Jr., who surged with a 67 to finish at 206 (69-70-67). Sirohi added a 75 to end the tournament at 223, while Miller's 80 and Greenleaf's 81 rounded out the scoring in the finale. Woolston finished Round 3 with a 90.

Warriors totals

After the tournament, Head Coach Stuart Winsby was proud of his team, and ready to teach beyond this tournament.

"The guys finished in 2nd place behind the hosts Indiana Wesleyan.

We came close to catching them but the final holes didn't go our way. We will learn from this experience.

Chris shot a bogey free 67 in the final round to win by 5 shots. Chris finished the tournament at -10, equaling the lowest 54 score to par by a Warrior!

We may need to check the record books...

Spring Semester:
3 Tournaments
3 different Individual winners
1 team win

Vedant, Tristan and Chris have all won the individual title at each of the tournaments this spring. This could be the first time that a team has had 3 different winners at 3 different events.

Proud of the guys fight out there today and especially Chris who didn't miss a shot all day where he beat the field's scoring average by 10 shots in the final round. We are excited for the trip to Hattiesburg, Mississippi for the Carey Collegiate in a couple of days."
