Babson Park, FL – The 7th ranked Webber International Flag Football team turned in a complete performance on Saturday, blanking Brewton-Parker 32-0 as the Warriors' defense set the tone early and the offense pulled away with a huge fourth quarter.
After a scoreless opening period, Webber broke through in the second when Luzariana Herrera connected with Cheyenne Durand for a 4-yard touchdown at the 7:45 mark, then added the point-after to make it 7-0 at the half. The Warriors kept rolling in the third, getting a 14-yard touchdown pass to Zionah Shingles and later a short Herrera pass on the extra point attempt extended the lead to 20-0.
Webber put the game out of reach in the fourth. Ijyana Edwards came up with the play of the day, jumping a throw for a 25-yard interception return touchdown, and the Warriors capped the scoring with a late touchdown by Hailey Mull to close out the 32-0 shutout.
Herrera led the offense through the air, finishing 25-of-34 for 247 yards and three passing touchdowns. Rylee Bolser paced the receiving corps with 11 catches for 141 yards (including a long of 32), while Shingles added four receptions for 56 yards and two TDs. Defensively, Webber was dominant—forcing three interceptions (two by Edwards), recording four sacks, and holding Brewton to 137 total yards on the afternoon.
