Warriors Fall to Bobcats in Miami Gardens

Miami Gardens, FL – The Webber International Men's Basketball team dropped a 91–71 SUN Conference decision at St. Thomas at the Fernandez Family Center, as the Bobcats used a balanced offensive night and control of the glass to pull away in the second half.

The Warriors started with good energy and briefly led early, but St. Thomas settled in behind perimeter shooting and playmaking, taking a 47–40 advantage into halftime. Webber continued to score efficiently, yet the Bobcats kept generating extra chances and clean looks, extending the margin throughout the final 20 minutes and building the lead to as many as 20 late in the contest.

Landon Tillman led Webber with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting, while Nirobi Peeler Jr. added 16—including four 3-pointers. Deon Brown chipped in 11 with three triples, and Thomas Morgan finished with 10 points.

St. Thomas was paced by Adrian Cruz's 26 points and 7 assists, with Kaleb Myers adding 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Esteban Lluberes knocked down five 3s on his way to 15 points, and Noah Tovar controlled the paint with 10 rebounds.

As a team, Webber shot 54.9% from the field and 43.8% from three, but St. Thomas countered with 12 made threes, a +14 rebounding edge (34–20), and just 3 turnovers, creating a decisive possession advantage.
