Owings Mills, MD – The Webber International Men's Beach Volleyball team competed at the USA Volleyball Men's Beach Collegiate Challenge on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Webber's Carson Barnes and Ayden Keeter took home the top prize at the tournament after going 3-0 in pool play.
Barnes and Keeter earned a first round bye after finishing in the top of their pool. They then went on to win four straight matches, going 2-1, 2-0, 2-1, and 2-0 in the championship match to take home the first prize.
Other Warrior pairs included Talan Stephens and Max Tome, Tanner Best and Dylan McClung, and JT Corr and Dallas Hitchins.
Stephens and Tome were the only pair not to make it out of pool play, finishing 0-3 in their pool. The pairs of Best and McClung and Corr and Hitchins also went 3-0 in their pools. Unfortunately, both pairs fell in the second round 2-0 after earning first round byes.
