West Palm Beach, FL. — Webber International Women's Volleyball dropped a Sun Conference road match at Keiser on Saturday night, 3–0. The Warriors battled late in each of the final two frames, but the Seahawks' balance on the court and steady first contact proved the difference.
After Keiser controlled the opening set, Webber found its rhythm in Set 2. Trailing 15–7, the Warriors pieced together a 13–5 push fueled by kills from Kaylee Hunt and Anna Morton and a pair of late blocks that cut the deficit to 24–20 before the Seahawks closed it out, 25–20. In Set 3, Webber surged to a 19–16 advantage—highlighted by sideouts from Kalyn Morgan and Lucianna Marinella—only for Keiser to answer with a closing 9–1 run to seal the match, 25–20.
Hunt paced Webber with 5 kills to go with 7 digs and an ace, while Morgan, Morton and Hailey Mull added 4 kills apiece; Morton also posted a team-high three block assists as the Warriors finished with 3.0 total team blocks. Libero Alejandra Aponte anchored the back row with 16 digs, and setter Abigail Leonard handed out 10 assists with two kills and an ace. Webber totaled 24 kills and four aces on the night.
Keiser countered with a diversified attack led by Makenzi Bennett (11 kills), Isabella Steffel (9 kills, .389), Aubree Valcourt (8 kills, 3 block assists) and Abby Lester (8 kills), all quarterbacked by Mallory Dills' 41 assists. The Seahawks hit .233 with four aces and 56 digs to improve their league mark.
