Babson Park, FL – Webber International Athletics and Athletic Director Brad Niethammer are proud to announce the hiring of Bryan Mejia as the Head Men's Soccer Coach. Mejia rejoins the Warriors after spending multiple seasons as the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach from 2020-2023.

Since his time at Webber, Mejia has been a coach at FC Highland soccer club and Lake Highland Prep in Orlando. With both Highland organizations closely connected, he worked with both boys' and girls' varsity players, helping them to the state finals in 2025. In addition to coaching at FC Highland, he has also served as the clubs director and administrator where his behind the scenes experience directing 200+ players will help him at Webber. 

During his time as Webber's assistant coach, the Warriors built a competitive program reaching the Sun Conference tournament Semi-finals in 2021 and 2022. The program also produced 13 All-conference players, as well as Sun Conference Freshman of the year Andy Obregón in 2020. 

Niethammer is happy to bring someone like Mejia back into the fold for the Warriors.

"We are excited about Bryan coming back to Webber to lead the Men's soccer program. Bryan is familiar with the program and knows what it takes to be competitive in the Sun Conference. Bryan will hit the ground running getting the team prepared for this fall."

Mejia and the Warriors will be back on the field very soon and will be in the hunt for the SUN Conference once again.

"I am very excited to be back in the Bab and get to work! I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Webber first as a captain and player, then as an assistant coach. Now returning back to Webber, I know the standard and what it takes to compete. I am looking forward to picking up where I left off and competing for the Sun Conference."
