Babson Park, FL – The 7th ranked Webber International Baseball team completed the four game sweep of Crooked Lake Rivals Warner University on Friday and Saturday, securing their first SUN Conference Series Victory of the year, and adding momentum towards the rest of the season. Webber had to come from behind multiple times in the series, but ultimately prevailed.
Game 2: Webber Rallies Late for Wild Walk-Off Win (Final: Webber 9, Warner 7)
This series opener was a back-and-forth battle that featured dramatic swings and big hits from both sides.
Warner struck first, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st behind an RBI double from Ju. Figueroa and a sac fly from D. Schumann. But Webber answered in the bottom half, with B. Morales driving in two to tie the game.
After trading zeroes for a couple of innings, Webber took control in the 3rd thanks to a clutch RBI single from N. Cannizzaro followed by a two-run homer from Morales, giving them a 5-2 lead.
Warner battled back, tying the game at 6-6 in the top of the 7th with a huge 3-run blast from D. Guevara. But Webber had the final word. After a leadoff single and a hit-by-pitch, S. Schulz smashed a three-run homer in the bottom of the 7th, walking it off in thrilling fashion.

Game 3: Webber Explodes in 15-Run Inning to Dominate Warner (Final: Webber 16, Warner 5)
After a tight start, Webber's offense erupted for 15 runs over two innings, blowing the game wide open and securing a convincing win in Game 2.
The Warriors broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the 1st with four runs, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Morales and a two-run homer from Cannizzaro. They poured on another 4 runs in the 2nd with homers from J. Martinez and R. Recio, then erupted for 7 more in the 4th to go up 15-1.
Warner finally got things going in the 5th with back-to-back homers from D. Guevara and D. Schumann, closing the gap to 15-5, but the damage had already been done.

Game 4: Webber Holds Off Warner to Take the Series (Final: Webber 6, Warner 4)
In the series finale, Webber leaned on timely hitting and just enough pitching to hold off a late push from Warner.
Warner took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd on a Kuhns RBI single, but Webber tied it up in the 3rd and took the lead in the 5th with an RBI single from J. Martinez. Warner tied it again in the 6th with a solo homer from Schumann, but Webber answered immediately with a solo shot from M. Cuello.
Warner briefly surged ahead 4-3 in the top of the 7th thanks to a two-run homer from Guevara. But Webber responded once more, plating three runs in the bottom half on a Recio double and a Morales RBI knock to lock up the 6-4 win.
