Warriors Dominate Warren Wilson Behind Career Day from Scopano

Babson Park, FL – The 2nd ranked Webber International Men's Lacrosse team put on a dominant performance against Warren Wilson College, securing an emphatic 27-4 victory. The game showcased an explosive offensive display from Webber International, with standout performances from Nick Sheaffer, Jeremiah Loo, and Philip Scopano, among others.


First Period: Webber Sets the Tone

Webber International wasted no time establishing their dominance, scoring eight goals in the first period.

  • The scoring started at 13:11 with Daniel McClure finding the back of the net off an assist from Philip Scopano.
  • Just two minutes later, Jeremiah Loo netted his first goal, also assisted by Scopano.
  • Nick Sheaffer followed suit at 9:08, once again with Scopano providing the assist.
  • Scopano then got on the scoresheet himself at 8:07, assisted by Loo.
  • Another quick goal came at 6:29 as Loo scored his second, with Scopano assisting yet again.
  • Joshua Colon-Prinzo added an unassisted goal at 4:39, showcasing Webber's relentless attack.

Warren Wilson finally broke through at 2:46 when Cameron Phillips scored with help from Jude Searles. However, Webber quickly responded with two more goals:

By the end of the first period, Webber held a commanding 8-1 lead.


Second Period: Offensive Barrage Continues

Webber continued their onslaught in the second period, adding seven more goals to their tally.

  • Nick Sheaffer scored twice in quick succession (14:43, 12:17), both assisted by Scopano.
  • Jeremiah Loo added two goals as well, one unassisted at 11:52 and another assisted by Sheaffer at 11:32.
  • Sheaffer scored his fourth goal of the game at 11:19, assisted by Scopano.
  • The dynamic duo of Loo and Sheaffer connected again for an UP (Under Pressure) goal at 9:29.

Warren Wilson managed to add a goal at 8:04 through Jude Searles, but Webber answered back with Raja Brooks scoring at 7:21, with another assist from Scopano. The period ended with Webber leading 15-2.


Third Period: Sealing the Win

Webber continued to pile on the goals, scoring five more times.

  • Nick Sheaffer recorded another goal at 10:36, assisted once more by Scopano.
  • Branden Sheaffer joined the scoring with a goal at 8:25, assisted by Scopano.
  • Warren Wilson found a little success at 6:39 when Ethan Damm scored unassisted.
  • Webber responded with a goal from Jeremiah Loo at 3:07, assisted by Scopano, and Brett Palmer added another at 1:01, with Joshua Colon-Prinzo on the assist.
  • To cap off the period, Joseph Xiarhos found the net at 0:32, with Scopano earning another assist. The period concluded with Webber leading 20-3.

Fourth Period: Closing the Statement Win

Webber didn't let up in the final period, scoring seven more goals to complete the blowout.

Warren Wilson managed a consolation goal at 2:23 by Cameron Phillips, assisted by Jayshawn Bruce.
