Babson Park, FL – Webber International Athletics was honored with three Player of the Week awards for the week of March 10th. Luke Secreti was honored as the AAC Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, Bryce Gerber was honored as the SUN Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, and Blayne Huter was honored as the SUN Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Secreti helped the 2nd ranked Warriors to a victory over the 3rd ranked Cumberlands Patriots on Saturday. Secreti made nine saves across three quarters, only allowing five goals and helping the Warriors to a 85% clear percentage. Secreti's time in goal helped the Warriors come back and take down the Patriots in overtime.
Gerber continued her tear as she accumulated 15 points across two games. She was responsible for 12 of the Warriors 18 goals against Georgetown and picked up another goal and an assist against Keiser. She also commanded 18 Draw Controls.
Huter had one of his best starts of the season in the SUN Conference opener against Keiser. He pitched a complete game in the 7th ranked Warriors 12-2 run rule victory over the Seahawks. He held Keiser hitless through 6.1 innings and ended his night with three hits and two runs, keeping is ERA under 2.00 at 1.50
All three Warriors will continue their seasons this week, as Men's Lacrosse takes on SCAD-Savannah, Women's Lacrosse takes on Life University, and Baseball takes on Southeastern.
