Kingsport, TN – The 8th ranked Webber International Baseball team is the #1 seed at the Kingsport, Tennessee NAIA Baseball Opening Round. The Warriors are no stranger to Kingsport having gone multiple times over the past few years, as they look to make it back to Lewiston, Idaho for the AVISTA NAIA World Series.
As the #1 seed, the Warriors will have to wait on their first opponent, playing the winner of the first game of the regional, between Indiana Wesleyan and William Woods. Winning that first game will put the Warriors in the driver's seat to win the regional and advance.
The Warriors are led by SUN Conference Player of the Year Keegan Martin, Ty Mathews, Steven Nitch, Mike Cuello, Jalen Martinez and more, as the SUN Conference Regular Season Title Winners look to make it back-to-back appearances in Lewiston for the first time in program history.
