Lakeland, FL – The Webber International Women's Soccer team netted a goal in each half but couldn't slow a fast-starting Southeastern side in a 7–2 road SUN Conference result on Saturday morning at SEU Soccer Field.
SEU struck twice inside the opening eight minutes and led 4–1 at the break. Webber's first-half answer came at 39:47 when Ana Buenrostro finished from Grayce Kidwell and Pia Grosse to make it 3–1 before the Fire added a fourth on 40:58.
In the second half, Southeastern extended the margin with goals at 64:00, 71:20, and a penalty at 75:24. The Warriors kept pushing and were rewarded at 86:55 when Olof Sigurdardottir slotted home Webber's second.
