Babson Park, FL – The Webber International softball team battled through the first game of the Crooked Lake Clash. While out hitting the Royals 7-3, the Warriors fell 4-0. 

The Royals added four runs in the first two innings, before five straight scoreless innings gave Warner game one of the series.  

Gracie Lopez, Thalia Romero, and Brandy Barquin all added two hits, while Haley Saylor added one in the bottom of the 6th inning. Romero and Barquin also notched walks along with Samantha Proctor. The Warriors were unable to convert hits to runs, as Warner took game one.  

With this, the Warriors move to 2-4 in SUNC play. The Warriors will be back in action on Thursday evening to finish the series starting at 5 pm.
