#4 Warriors Drop to #1 Southeastern

Babson Park, FL – The No. 4 Warriors fall to No. 1 Southeastern in both games of the doubleheader. The Warriors battled through 16 innings, but came up short as they fell 5-2, 4-2. 

Brayden Matthews got the start in game two as he pitched 4.1 innings and only allowed four runs on eight hits. Thomas Nelson came in for relief in the top of the fifth inning where he stuck out three batters an only allowed one run on three hits. 

Brodey Neveker and Gabriel Cruz led the Warriors on offense as they both went 2-for-3 and accounted for the two runs in game one.  

Dylan Martin got the start in game two and pitched seven complete innings. The senior struck out seven batters, and only allowed four runs. Hunter Youngblood came in to close game three for the Warriors as he pitched two shutout innings.  

Ryan Recio went 2-for-4 in game two to lead the Warriors offensively as he and Ian Kalman were the two runs for the Warriors in game three.  

Webber will be back tomorrow as they will take on the Fire one more time, first pitch is set for Noon.
