Huter pitched four scoreless innings, before a three-run homer put the Nighthawks on the board. Seth Lovell came in to relieve and threw 54 pitches, allowed only one run as he grabbed two more strikeouts for the year. Danny Rodriguez closed out the game for the Warriors, pitching two innings. Rodriguez adds three strikeouts to his resume in his second game of the season.

Huter came out of the gates hot with a quick three-and-out to put the Warriors on offense. Ian Kalman singled in the bottom of the first and would be the only Warrior to get on base before the inning ended.

Both teams had another scoreless inning before a Nighthawk ball broke through to make it 5-4 to end the game.
