Warriors Fall to NCAA Division I Lancers

Babson Park, FL - The Webber International Warriors women's basketball team faced a tough challenge against NCAA Division I Longwood University, falling 105-38 in a game where the Lancers controlled the tempo from start to finish.

The first quarter set the tone for the game, with Longwood coming out strong, shooting 56.5% from the field. Mariah Wilson dominated early with 8 points and 4 rebounds, helping the Lancers build a commanding 31-7 lead. Webber struggled offensively, shooting just 16.7% from the field, as Jaiden Ross scored 5 of the Warriors' 7 points.

In the second quarter, the Warriors found some rhythm defensively but continued to face challenges scoring, managing just 7 points on 20.0% shooting. Longwood maintained their intensity, with Olivia Bowes contributing key points off the bench, finishing the half with 10 points and 6 rebounds. The Lancers entered halftime with a dominant 49-14 advantage.
