When asked about the win Head Coach Gabriel Rutledge said, " I am extremely proud of the fight and the heart that we played with today. FMU is a well-coached, athletic basketball team, and our guys did an incredible job matching their physicality". There was a different starting lineup today, and for that, Coach Rutledge said, "Today was an opportunity to learn more about the team and that being locked in defensively shows how special our team is. The team still have improvements that can be made, but today they showed what it takes to win in the SUN conference, Go Warriors!"
The Warriors will be back in action as they head on the road to take on RV Ave Maria on Wednesday, January 24th before travel to #11 St. Thomas to end the first round of SUNC play.
