Babson Park, FL – After a strong first half, the Warriors drop to Warner in a one-point heartbreaker. With this, Webber moves to 13-5 on the year and 1-3 in SUNC play.

The Royals got things started with back-to-back buckets to take an early 2-0 lead. The Warriors responded with a Holt double before Warner grabbed a free throw. Webber quickly took the lead with a jumper from Holt combined with threes from Sofia and Cooper Peterson. Both teams traded scores before a layup from Gavin Buchanon and a triple from Sofia set the Warriors ahead by eight. A Golden bucket sent the Warriors to the half up 32-25.

Webber opened the second half with two free throws from Nesby. The Royals went on a scoring run to take the lead 43-39 before Holt drew a foul and sank two free throws to make it a two-point game. The Warriors closed the game out with a 12-6 run, but ultimately came up short falling to the Royals 62-63.

The Warriors will be back home on Saturday, January 20th as they are set to host the Florida Memorial Lions.
