Four Warriors Named to Basketball All-SUN Conference Teams

MIAMI, Fla. (February 27, 2023) – The Sun Conference has announced its All-Conference selections for both men's and women's basketball. The Warriors earned four selections, two on the men's side and two on the women's. 
 

Jaida Burgess was named First-Team All-Conference after an outstanding sophomore season in which she led the Warriors with an average of 16.5 points per game, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.8 steals. She was Webber's primary source of offense and also earned one SUN Player of the Week award during the season. 
 

The Warriors' floor general, Samantha Pacheco, earned Second-Team All-Conference in her senior year. She averaged 10.5 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.4 steals. Pacheco earned a SUN Player of the Week award as well. 
 

On the men's side, junior-transfer K'Shun Stokes was named First-Team All-Conference in his first season with the Warriors. He was a leader for Webber all season long as he averaged 20.4 points on 46.9 percent shooting, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. Stokes was named a SUN Player of the Week as well as an NAIA National Player of the Week. He was also named to the All-Sun Conference Tournament Team. 
 

Senior Eddie Davis was a veteran leader for the Warriors and earned Second-Team All-Conference. He averaged 13.9 points per game on 48.4 percent shooting, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Davis also finished first among all Warriors in three-point shooting percentage at 41.1 percent.
