Webber Athletics Announces Ryan Kardok as Head Men's Basketball Coach

Babson Park, FL – The Webber International Athletic Department and Athletic Director Brad Niethammer are pleased to announce the hiring of Ryan Kardok as the new Head Coach of Men's Basketball at Webber International. Coach Kardok brings a wealth of experience to the Warrior Basketball program and will look to hit the ground running in a competitive SUN Conference.

Prior to Webber International University, Ryan Kardok built a diverse and accomplished coaching background spanning NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II basketball. Most recently, Kardok served as Assistant Coach at Florida Southern College, where he helped guide the program to three consecutive 20-win seasons, three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, and top-three finishes in the Sunshine State Conference each year. During his tenure, the program reached the NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen and the Round of 32 while finishing top 10 nationally in offense for three consecutive seasons. Florida Southern players under Kardok's leadership also earned five First Team All-Conference selections, four All-Defensive Team honors, two All-American selections, one SSC Player of the Year award, and two SSC Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Kardok has also held coaching and player development roles at University of South Florida, James Madison University, Bowling Green State University, and University of Miami, where he worked under Naismith Coach of the Year Jim Larrañaga. Kardok played his collegiate basketball at the University of South Florida and earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from USF along with a master's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Miami.
