TAVARES, Fla. (April 18, 2022) - The Webber International University women's beach volleyball team traveled to Hickory Point Beach to participate in the AVCA Small College Beach Championship this past weekend. The Warriors would face Southeastern University in the championship match, winning 3-2 to earn the title.
After winning both pool play games against No. 6 Corban University and the University of Mobile, the Warriors would advance to the semifinal match in which they would face William Carey University. After defeating William Carey 4-1, Webber advanced to the final in which they would match up against Southeastern University, defeating them 3-2 to win the championship.

Next up, the Warriors will travel to Panama City Beach, Florida to take part in the first NAIA National Invitational, beginning on Thursday, April 21. Webber will play two pool play matches prior to bracket play. The Warriors will first face No. 6 Corban University at 12 p.m. before matching up against No. 1 Vanguard University at 2 p.m.
