She would make her eighth start of the season, allowing one run on one hit and picking up six strikeouts in her four innings pitched. Chaudoin would pitch the final two innings in relief without giving up any runs and striking out one.

Webber would draw first blood in game two after bringing home four runs in the top of the second on a single up the middle from Brandy Barquin that would score both Genesis Aviles and Jacobs. Another single up the middle, this time from Thompson would score two more to give Webber a 4-0 lead. The Lions would pick up a run in the bottom half after an RBI-double. Webber would score two more in the third inning including an RBI-triple to left field from Hoyt. With the bases loaded in the top of the sixth, Thompson would fire a grand slam over the center field wall to clear the bases and give Webber a 10-1 lead.

The Warriors were led by Thompson who finished 2-for-4 with a home run and six RBI's followed by Barquin who was 2-for-3 with two RBI's and a run scored. Hoyt ended the game 1-for-2 with a triple, an RBI, and a run scored.

"What a great weekend for Webber softball," said Head Coach Kristy Burton. "We are so proud of the team and how they showed up for our opening conference series. Starting out 3-0 in this conference is a huge accomplishment. The adversity, passion and grit they showed this series was unbeatable and showed us how special this team really is. Our pitching staff was lights out allowing us to take advantage in every offensive and defensive moment. We are excited to see if we can continue this 10-game winning streak tomorrow back at home. Hope to see you all tomorrow, go Warriors."
