BABSON PARK, Fla. (February 17, 2022) – Director of Athletics, Brad Niethammer and head cheerleading coach Lindsay Corbett announced the addition of male cheerleaders to the game day aspect of cheer starting in the fall of 2022.
 
Webber will be adding males to form a co-ed cheer squad for gameday cheer in Fall 2022. This creates the opportunity to possibly compete in the small co-ed and co-ed divisions at UCA nationals in the future.
 
"There are more and more males cheering at the high school and all-star levels right now," Corbett said. "This will allow for us to help these young men further their cheer career at the college level. We are looking forward to what this may bring for Warrior Nation."
 
The Webber International University cheerleaders recently finished fifth in their division at UCA Nationals in January. All interested cheerleaders should email Coach Corbett at corbettla@webber.edu.
