Kristy Burton said after the two wins, "Today was a beautiful day and well-fought battle at
Nancy Nichols Field. We played with so much passion and fight in us. We are so proud of our pitching staff and defense for shutting down a great offensive team in Southeastern. Our offense was consistent through both games and allowed us to push enough runs across to walk away with two big conference wins today. We appreciate all the support and we were thankful to have some of our future Warriors out to watch and support us. We hope to see you all next Wednesday as we take on Warner in our Crooked Lake battle. Go Warriors."
Next up for Webber will be its fourth conference series at home and second straight against a nationally-ranked team as the Warriors finish off the month of March by hosting Crooked Lake rival and No. 18-ranked Warner University at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31.
