BABSON PARK, Fla. (March 18, 2021) – For its second conference series in a row, the No. 25 Webber International University baseball team will play in The Sun Conference Series of the Week. This time around, it will be a matchup between two nationally-ranked teams as the Warriors will play at No. 2 Southeastern University.

Game one of the series will start at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 19, followed by a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, inside Ted A. Broer Stadium in Lakeland, Florida.

Webber (17-10 overall, 7-2 TSC) has won eight of its last 11 games and has won all three of its conference series so far, including a sweep over Thomas University during the TSC Series of the Week three weeks ago. Southeastern (24-1, 5-1), meanwhile, has won 10 games in a row, is undefeated on its home field so far this season at 19-0, and has won both of its conference series against Thomas and Warner University.

Webber is hitting .273 with nine home runs and 136 RBI. Southeastern, meanwhile, leads the conference in hitting with a .354 batting average. The Fire have registered a league-best 60 home runs and 250 RBI (No. 1 in the conference).

The Warriors and the Fire have not played against each other since meeting up during The Sun Conference Tournament back on May 4, 2019, a 5-3 victory for Webber.
