BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 22, 2021) – The Webber International University women's basketball team led from start to finish on its way to a dominant 101-56 victory over the Conquistadors of Florida National inside the Sabbagh Athletic Center on Monday evening.

The Warriors (6-0 overall, 2-0 SUN) shot an impressive 46.7 percent while surpassing the century mark for the first time this season. Webber outscored Florida National (1-6) 44-28 on points in the paint as well as 25-11 in points off turnovers.

Leading the way offensively was
Amaya Small with 18 points, her highest total so far this season 66.6 percent shooting. She was followed by
Deja King with 15,
Jaida Burgess with 14, and
Eletra Graham with 12. The Warriors shot 46.7 percent as a team from beyond the arch. Burgess added six assists while
Samantha Pacheco finished with five.

Webber did an outstanding job on the boards, outrebounding FNU a hefty 54-29.

Small, King, Burgess, and Pacheco all tied for a game-high six rebounds in the game, followed by
Rushell Jacob with five.

King and Pacheco played tenacious defense, each gathering four steals.
Triniti Lee added two blocks to go with her five points and three rebounds.

The Warriors will be back to Sun Conference action as they host the No. 5 nationally-ranked Southeastern Fire on Thursday, December 2, at 5:30 p.m. Following that matchup, they will travel to West Palm Beach, Florida to face Keiser University just two days later.
