BABSON PARK, Fla. (October 23, 2021) – The Webber International University women's volleyball team hosted Keiser University on Saturday afternoon inside the Sabbagh Athletic Center, resulting in a 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-19) loss for the Warriors.

The Warriors (10-13 overall, 1-9 SUN) battled with the Seahawks (15-20, 5-6) but were unable to capture a set in the match only coming within five points of Keiser in the first two sets.

Junior
Bailey Sikkema led the team with a season-high 14 kills with a hitting percentage of .393. She was followed by
Savanna Wilhite with seven kills and hitting an impressive .500.
Amanda Vega led the Warriors in terms of assists with 21 followed by
Ana Clara Araujo with 13.

Webber was led defensively by
Kayce Kavanaugh with 12 digs while Wilhite added three blocks. Araujo added eight digs while
Gabriela Lopez finished the match with seven.

Next the Warriors will travel to Miami Gardens, Florida to battle the Lions of Florida Memorial on Wednesday, October 27, at 7 p.m. before returning home for their Senior Day on Friday, October 29, when they host St. Thomas University.
