Webber International University to continue limiting fans in the Spring

1/6/2021 12:18:00 PM

BABSON PARK, Fla. (January 6, 2021) – With the first home men's and women's basketball games of 2021 beginning this week, and with the start of the Spring seasons later this month, Webber International University has decided to continue to limit fan attendance for its Winter and Spring sports to only current Webber students, faculty and staff, along with family members of student-athletes. Fans from competing institutions are not being allowed at this time.

All home events that take place on the campus of Webber International University will require a ticket for entry, and all tickets for home contests will be available free of cost, but will only be available online via Eventbrite. No in-person tickets will be available.

Below are the maximum numbers of tickets that will be allowed for each sport:
  • Sabbagh Athletic Center (basketball/volleyball): 68 tickets
  • Multi-Purpose Turf Field (lacrosse/flag football): 90 tickets
  • Grass Field (flag football/soccer): 50 tickets
  • Heart of Florida Field (baseball): 125 tickets
  • Nancy Nichols Field (softball): 125 tickets
  • Campus Beach Volleyball Courts: 30 tickets
  • Frostproof High School Track: 150 tickets
Tickets are only available on an individual basis, so each individual within a group of people will be responsible for ordering their own ticket online.

In addition to having their ticket, Webber International University requires all fans in attendance at an event to follow the attached guidelines for fan attendance. Once a specific event is out of the specified number of tickets, no one else will be allowed entrance to the event.

Seating in the bleachers at the Turf Field, the Grass Field, Heart of Florida Field and Nancy Nichols Field will be limited, so fans are being asked to please bring their own chairs for social distancing purposes.

If you are unable to get a ticket to an event, Webber International University encourages all fans to tune into the live stream for each event found at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/webber/.
