MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (September 19, 2020) – Playing on the road in Sun Conference action for the second straight match, the Webber International University men's soccer team was shutout 2-0 against St. Thomas University on Saturday evening at the STU Soccer Field.
The match was called in the 73rd minute, but Webber (1-3 overall, 0-2 The Sun Conference) was held without a shot for the entire match.
For St. Thomas, which improved to 1-1 overall and 1-0 in The Sun Conference so far in 2020 after advancing to the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament in 2019 and finishing the year receiving votes in the NAIA Postseason Coaches' Top-25 Poll, both of the Bobcats' goals game within three and a half minutes of each other late in the first half.

It will not get any easier for the Warriors as next up, Webber will host No. 22 nationally-ranked Keiser University at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 26. It will be the first Sun Conference match at home so far in 2020 for the Warriors.
