BABSON PARK, Fla. (February 9, 2020) – The 2020 home opener for the Webber International University men's and women's tennis teams resulted in a 7-0 loss for both teams against the No. 20 University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) men and the No. 17 Cumberlands (Ky.) women.
COACH'S CORNER: Webber's Head Tennis Coach
Otis Cutshaw said, "Its never easy playing nationally-ranked teams. It doesn't matter if they are No. 1 or No. 25, they are ranked for a reason and are probably all pretty good players. In order to gauge where you are at, test yourself, and improve as a player and as a team, we have to take on these opponents to become better. Today was a tough day but hopefully we will learn from it and improve."
