BABSON PARK, Fla. (February 17, 2020) – The first Sun Conference match at home for the Webber International University men's and women's tennis teams unfortunately came against the No. 2-ranked women's team and No. 7-ranked men's tennis team in the NAIA, Keiser University. Playing with shorthanded lineups featuring only three players on the men's side and four on the women's, both the Webber men and women fell by equal scores of 7-0 against the Seahawks.

Otis Cutshaw said, "After playing our third nationally ranked team in a row, hopefully our team is getting the match toughness we need for our upcoming matches for the next three weeks. We will continue to work hard and try and improve each match."
Notable Men's Results:
- Matthew Alexander fell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
- Marc Schneider fell 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles against the No. 13-ranked Julian Turosienski.
- Alexander and Schneider lost 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, but it would not have mattered anyway as Webber was forced to forfeit the second and third doubles spots and also forfeited the fourth, fifth and sixth singles spots.
- Webber fell to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in The Sun Conference while No. 7 Keiser improved to 6-1 and 4-0 with what was its 30th straight conference victory.
Notable Women's Results:
- Lily-Rose Rochat fell 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
- Jenna Fosdick lost 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles against No. 8 Lisa Khamassi.
- Svenja Koenig fell 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 3 spot against No. 7-ranked Sarah Schaerer.
- Cheyenne Cannor fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.
- Rochat and Fosdick fell 6-2 at No. 1 doubles while Koenig and Cannor lost 6-0 in the No. 2 spot.
- Webber foreited the No. 3 doubles spot and the No. 5 and No. 6 singles spots.
- Webber fell to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in The Sun Conference while No. 2 Keiser, just like its men's team, improved to 6-1 and 4-0 with 30 consecutive conference wins.
Next Up: Webber remains at home for two more Sun Conference matches as the Warriors battle rival Warner University at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, before returning to the courts three days later to battle St. Thomas University also at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22.
