BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 2, 2020) – In what was Senior Day for 11 Warriors, the Webber International University women's soccer team was victorious 1-0 over the University of South Carolina Beaufort on Monday at the Warrior Grass Field.
It was the final home match for seniors

Brandi Westley, who were each honored before kickoff.
After Webber (4-6-1 overall, 2-6-0 The Sun Conference) fired only one shot on goal in the first half, the Warriors' second shot on goal found the back of the net for the first goal of the match by junior
Sophia Kenny in the 55th minute. It was the fourth goal of the season by Kenny, who leads the Warriors in that category, and was assisted by freshman
Da'Carrah Odom on the throw in.

"That was a great team win" spoke Head Coach
Brian Fallon. "I thank every player and we are extremely excited for our seniors. The girls stayed disciplined and earned a wonderful result."
USCB (3-4, 3-4), meanwhile, suffered its third straight one-goal defeat after back-to-back overtime losses coming into the match.
One of Webber's seniors, Thigpen, finished with three shots on the match and two shots on goal. The Warriors' other three shot attempts came from
Charlee Lutton,
Deborah Guillen and Kenny.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Natalie Bartek had four saves in the first half, including one save on a penalty kick try, and finished with five saves overall to record what was her second shutout of the season.
The Warriors will now conclude their 2020 regular season with back-to-back TSC road matches. First up will be a 6 p.m. kickoff at St. Thomas University on Thursday, November 5, followed by a second meeting this season with No. 4 nationally-ranked Southeastern University at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 7.
