- That comeback effort by the Warriors got off to a great start as Christof Buehler won 7-6 (7-2), 6-1 at No. 5 singles and Marc Schneider won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
- Then, just when it looked like Webber might come all the way back with Matthew Alexander, who was playing in only his third singles match of the season, and his opponent Santiago Haas tied at 3-3 in the deciding third set, Alexander simply ran out of gas and played a brilliant match, but could not pull it out. In the end, Alexander fell 6-0, 6-7 (3-7), 6-3.
	- Webber, which is currently receiving votes in the latest NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll, fell to 9-7 overall and 3-3 in The Sun Conference as the Warriors will now need a win against a SCAD Savannah team that is 1-5 in conference next weekend to secure a spot in the league's postseason tournament.
