BABSON PARK, Fla. (April 18, 2019) – Senior Day for the No. 19 Webber International University baseball team will now feature a doubleheader against Warner University at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, while the final game of the series will be played at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23.

It will be the final action on the Heart of Florida Baseball Field for seniors Luis Esteban, Garrett Martin, Quirino Esquivel, Zak Spivy, Carlos Pino, Cristian Rivera, Doug Pearl, Josh Navedo, Kevin Snyder, John Shutrump, Marcus Begg, Ricardo Garcia, Joey Cutrone and Luis Besteiro. It will also be the final three home games for Head Coach Brad Niethammer.

The Warriors and the Royals will enter the weekend with identical overall records of 31-17, but Webber is currently 12-9 in The Sun Conference and tied for third in the league standings while Warner is fifth with a conference mark of 11-10.

A series victory over the Royals would all but guarantee the Warriors the No. 3 seed for The Sun Conference Tournament, which begins on May 3.

The Warriors are currently ranked third in The Sun Conference in opponents' batting average (.273), fourth in their own batting average (.305) and in runs batted in per game (7.04), and are fifth in earned run average (4.70). The Royals are third in ERA (4.60) and fifth in RBI's per game (5.79) in the conference.
