BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 6, 2019) – In two days on Friday, November 8, the Webber International University men's basketball team will take the court inside the Sabbagh Athletic Center for the first time during its current 2019-20 season as the Warriors host Trinity College (Fla.) at 7:30 p.m. in Babson Park, Florida.
Webber is currently 0-4 in 2019-20 with all four games being decided by single digits. The closest margin was a three-point loss, 80-77, against Sterling College (Kan.) during the Warriors' season opener (Oct. 25) while most recently, Webber fell 113-108 in overtime at Florida College last Saturday (Nov. 2).
"I am very excited to finally play a home game," said Head Coach
Allen Corbin. "It is brutal to be on the road in college basketball if you are not playing close to perfect basketball. We have a lot of things to clean up and we plan on doing that this week. I am hoping that we put together a full 40 minutes and a great crowd comes out to support us."
Junior guard
Tommie Luke currently leads Webber in scoring at 23.8 points per game while
Corey Corbin is averaging 12 points per game,
Joel Coffey is averaging 7.3 rebounds per game and shooting over 70 percent from the field, and
