The Warriors' offense was held to only 29 rushing yards and only one yard per attempt on the ground, and was limited to only 2.8 yards per play overall.
Quarterback

Gilbert Delgado for an average of 36.2 yards per punt while
Joe Ebel punted four times for an average of 33.3 yards per attempt.
In the first quarter, the Webber offense started with each of its first two drives ending in punts before the third play of the second quarter saw Lee fumble the ball around midfield.
The rest of the second quarter featured five punts by the Warriors while the Webber defense came up with all three of its interceptions, each of which came within the Warriors' own 20-yard line.
The Warriors' first possession of the second half started with an interception by Lee on the very first play from scrimmage; and then Webber continued the third quarter by turning the ball over on downs after a 12-play, 65-yard drive that stalled at the AMU 15-yard line before punting the ball for the eighth time on its next possession.
Over the final 15 minutes, the Warriors punted the ball away for the ninth time, turned it over on downs around midfield with 7:38 left in the game after a seven-play, 39-yard drive, and then finished by throwing another interception with only a minute and a half left.
In all, the Warriors finished with 11 drives lasting less than five plays.
The points for AMU came via a 36-yard rushing touchdown with 8:27 left in the first half and two field goals with time expiring at the end of the second and third quarters.
Additionally, the Gyrenes' field goal kicker, Devyn McCormick, finished only 2-for-6 on the night.
Webber football will try to right the ship next time out as the Warriors return home to their new Warrior Turf Field for Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, October 26. On that date, the Warriors will battle a Keiser University team that is currently ranked No. 18 in the NAIA at 1:30 p.m.
