BABSON PARK, Fla. (August 20, 2018) – The Webber International University women's soccer team recently prepared and delivered a meal for the Polk County/Babson Park Fire Station (Polk County Fire Rescue Station 1) on Saturday, August 18.

Head Coach Brian Fallon said, "I feel it is important as a team we service our community by giving back. I know the girls enjoyed the experience and did a great job cooking everything and this allowed them to see once again the world is bigger than just us. It also provided them the experience to thank those that make sure we are safe. I was very proud of them and I know they enjoyed serving this delicious meal to these brave men and women who understand better than anyone the importance of being there for others."

The meal featured homemade spaghetti, garlic rolls, salad, cookies and a thank you card decorated and signed by the whole team.

Fallon concluded, "We already have a number of projects lined up so pay attention as the Webber women's soccer team is more than just about soccer."
