Webber improved its overall record to above .500 at 4-3 and earned its first Sun Conference win at 1-2. Warner, meanwhile, fell to 5-6 and 0-3.
Alter leading 25-20 at the half, a three by Reed put the Warriors ahead by eight at 28-20 on the team's first possession of the third quarter.
Then, after Webber fell behind by one at 37-36 with 2:15 left in the quarter, a 7-2 Webber run that was capped off by a three from Williams made it 43-39 Warriors before the Royals scored on a jumper with nine seconds left to make it 43-41 heading into the final 10 minutes.
From there, the Warriors took control, using a three again from Reed on their first possession and then capitalizing on back-to-back threes by Graham to go ahead by 11 at 52-41 with 8:42 to play.
By the end of it, Webber shot 50 percent overall and 57.1 percent from three in the quarter compared to only 25 percent overall for the Royals.
"I thought we played great defense and rebounded the ball really well," said Head Coach
Grady Morrell.
The Warriors will now play their third game in four days with a home game on Monday, December 3, against Edward Waters College at 5:30 p.m. Webber will then return to conference play at home on Thursday, December 6, with another 5:30 p.m. tipoff against Thomas University.
